According to the official website, the movie of TV Anime Anohana (Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Boku-tachi wa Mada Shiranai, あの日見た花の名前を僕達はまだ知らない。) was announced and will be premiered in 2013. Directed by Tatsuyuki Nagai (長井 龍雪) who’s also the director of Ano Natsu de Matteru (あの夏で待ってる) and Toradora! (とらドラ!) , the series received lots of attentions. It was quite a surprise to see the movie announcement for the series since the main story was ended last Spring (of course, with a little inspiration of a second season or movie, as usual) and wonder what the director will bring to us. And of course, fans will be hugely disappointed if the movie turned out to be something like a roundup of the TV Anime and guess the company knows this too. However, as you can tell from the following illustration on the official website, the movie appears to retell the story from Menma’s perspective.
